Community Guidelines
The short version: be a real person, treat the other person as a real person, and Blink stays a place people actually want to come back to.
1. Show your face
Blink is a face-to-face service. Your camera must show your actual face during a call. No masks that fully obscure your identity, no fake backgrounds designed to impersonate someone else, no pre-recorded videos looped as a fake stream, and no bots. If we detect a synthetic or recorded stream, your session is ended and your account is reviewed.
2. Keep it clothed
Nudity, sexual content, sexually suggestive behavior, and adult-content solicitation are not allowed and never will be. This is a zero-tolerance rule. First offenses lead to an immediate ban — we do not warn for sexual content.
3. Respect the person on the other side
Harassment, slurs, threats, and hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality have no place here. Disagreement is fine; contempt is not. If a conversation turns hostile, hit "Next" and move on — you never owe a stranger your continued attention.
4. Do not record
Recording, screenshotting, or livestreaming another user without their explicit consent is prohibited and, in many places, illegal. Blink itself does not record calls. Assume the person you are chatting with is not recording either — and do not become the exception.
5. No minors
Blink is 18+. If you are under 18, please leave the platform. If you see someone who appears to be a minor, disconnect immediately and report the session. We cooperate with law enforcement in cases of child safety.
6. No solicitation or spam
Don't use Blink to promote external services, ask for money, sell products, or funnel people to other platforms. Genuine conversation is the whole point — advertising undermines it.
7. Protect your own information
You are chatting with a stranger. Don't share your full name, home address, workplace, financial information, ID documents, or passwords — no matter how friendly the other person seems. If someone pressures you for personal information, that is your cue to hit "Next".
8. Report what needs reporting
The report button exists so we can act. Use it. Because we do not record conversations, your report is the only signal we have — the more detail you include, the more effectively we can respond.
Enforcement
Consequences scale with severity and repetition. Minor issues may lead to a warning; serious violations lead to permanent removal. Some violations — child safety, threats of violence, non-consensual intimate imagery — result in immediate ban and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. Bans are per-person, not per-account.
