Terms of Service
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Welcome to Blink. Blink is a real-time peer-to-peer video chat service that pairs you face-to-face with another real person somewhere in the world. By creating an account and using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
Blink is strictly limited to people aged 18 and over. If you do not meet this age requirement, you must not create an account or use the service. When you sign up, you confirm that you meet the age requirement, that all information you provide is accurate, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Do not share your account, and do not attempt to access other accounts. If you suspect unauthorized access, sign out immediately and reset your password. You may delete your account at any time; deletion removes your profile data and interests from active use.
3. Acceptable use
Blink is a place for real conversation with strangers. To keep it that way, the following are strictly prohibited:
- Nudity, sexual content, or sexually suggestive behavior of any kind.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeting anyone based on identity.
- Recording, screenshotting, or redistributing another user's stream.
- Impersonation, catfishing, or misrepresenting who you are.
- Advertising, solicitation, spamming, or promoting external services.
- Any conduct that is illegal where you or the other party is located.
Violations may result in immediate disconnection, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the service without notice.
4. Video and audio
Video and audio streams are exchanged peer-to-peer between two users using WebRTC. Blink does not record calls and does not store the contents of your conversations. Signaling data (metadata required to establish the connection) is briefly relayed through our infrastructure and then discarded.
5. Reporting and moderation
If another user violates these terms, use the report button in the room to submit a report. We review reports and may take action including warnings, suspensions, or bans. Because conversations are not recorded, please provide as much detail as possible in your report.
6. Availability
Blink is provided on an as-is basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Matching depends on other users being online and on the quality of your network connection. Some connections may fail due to strict NAT or firewall configurations.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of Blink after changes means you accept the updated terms.
